Anna H. Anderson, M.S, M.Ed, LMFT, Clinical Care Coordinator

I believe that it is important to make openness, respect, and curiosity the most important parts of my work as a counselor. My 20 years of experience with children, teens, young adults, individuals, families and couples, comes from a variety of settings including Samaritan Center of Puget Sound, Youth Eastside Services, schools, YMCA, camps, Young Life, and churches. I have a special place in my heart for working with children, teens, and young adults and also specialize in premarital relationships and improvements in relationships. I am a facilitator for Prepare/Enrich, a relationship assessment tool for couples, and for SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) and have also taught several marriage preparation classes.

In addition to therapy, I am Adjunct Faculty in Counselor Education at Seattle Pacific University where I instruct school counselors in training.  I have volunteered numerous times at Camp Erin and Camp Mariposa to help children in distress. In therapy with me, you will find a strengths-based client centered approach.  I feel honored to encourage clients through painful and challenging situations in life.
