I am passionate about helping clients experience deeper connection, belonging, and hope in their mind, body, soul, and relationships. My approach focuses on engaging from psychodynamic and systems perspectives. This means we will look together at your concerns and goals through the context of your story, including your primary and influential relationships, environments, experiences, and systems of your past and present.

I work primarily with adults across the gender and age spectrum in individual, group, or couples formats. I enjoy working with populations that seek to engage issues of identity around achievement and performance, anger, trauma and abuse, and relationships. I engage in therapy with curiosity, kindness, intention and sometimes humor.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW), a Masters of Social Work Degree (MSW) from The University of North Dakota and a Level I and Level II Certificate of Completion in Narrative Focused Trauma Care through The Allender Center at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. I utilize these approaches, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy, and mindfulness in therapy.

Prior to my move to Seattle in 2020, I worked for over 10 years with adolescents, young adults, individuals, couples, and groups in a range of settings including primary, secondary, and higher education, inpatient chemical health treatment, community mental health, and athletics and coaching.  My experiences have taught me to engage with clients from a strengths-based, trauma-informed, culturally diverse orientation that celebrates the inherent worth, dignity, and creativity of the authentic self.

In my personal time I enjoy an active lifestyle of learning and movement through yoga, Crossfit, hiking, and spending time with my husband of almost 10 years and our three young children. My work and life is deeply influenced by transformation in my own life through the care and work of others such as my own therapists and colleagues.
