I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, families, and organizations thrive in their relationships. This fundamental part of our existence leads to greater happiness, meaning, purpose, productivity, and life satisfaction. When our families, teams, and communities thrive, we can experience the fullness of life for which we were created. Together we can make that happen. Professionally, I hold a high value for the most evidence-based, proven methods for change. I am committed to connecting relationally with people with acceptance, empathy, and willingness to see the best, even as we work together to find ways for life to be better.

I am a Fuller School of Psychology Graduate, with a Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy and completed most classes toward a Masters in Divinity. I am an AAMFT Approved Mentor Supervisor (American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists), Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist, as well as a Certified Gottman Educator.

In addition to leading groups and supervising mental health professionals, I provide professional consultation and coaching to organizations and business leaders. I have enjoyed teaching at graduate and undergraduate universities, hosting seminars, and speaking at various events to inspire and equip people to love well and live their best life.

Personally, I delight in being a mom to 4 kids from middle school to college, and my marriage to my college sweetheart. I value contributing by serving on the Whitworth University Liberal Arts Advisory Board, mentoring professionals in leadership and ministry roles, and coaching and supporting youth sports.

Insurance

I am an out-of-network provider and our billing team can provide a superbill for clients to pursue reimbursement directly.

As a licensed clinician, direct reimbursement rates are typically anywhere from 50% to 80% and superbills can go toward your deductible. Therefore, your overall coverage may not be that different than in-network coverage. We advise you to reach out to your insurance plan directly to determine your benefits in advance. We cannot guarantee coverage from any given company, but will support you with the proof of services rendered.

A Superbill does not apply to extended sessions beyond 55 minutes or any services where there is not a mental health diagnosis. This includes but is not limited to relationship therapy, individual coaching, consulting, relationship coaching, extended sessions, and mini-relationship retreats.
